Merry Christmas! Can you believe it’s almost here? I honestly feel like a little kid anticipating the big day. I’m excited about joining together with our church family on Christmas Eve, watching my kids open presents on Christmas morning, reading the Christmas story together in our living room, and then joining together with family out of town for the holiday festivities. The Lord Jesus has been so good to each of us, and He deserves all of our attention at Christmas. I hope you enjoy Christmas with the ones you love.
Yesterday I gave a simple admonition from Scripture that you can utilize to ensure you have a M.E.R.R.Y. Christmas:
M-agnify the Savior (take time to give God the glory He alone deserves)
E-dify the Saints (make an effort to lift up others who need it)
R-each out to the lost (share the gospel)
R-epent for your sin (make sure there is nothing between you and God)
Y-ield to the Spirit (surrender to God’s plan for your life)
I have been praying through this little acrostic over the past few days, and it has blessed my life…I hope that you will too.
If you’re free tomorrow (on Christmas Eve), please join us for the KBC candlelight service at 5:30 pm.
Have yourself a merry little Christmas!
