I’ve been so sick all week with a painful and persistent kidney stone that just won’t go away. I’ve literally been on my bed/couch doped out with pain killers for the past three days, but today something changed. The stone has not yet passed, but I’m doing a little better. This afternoon I believe that God gave me a message to share this weekend. I’m thrilled to preach a very special sermon from 1 Timothy 4 on Sunday and hope you’ll be there. This part of Paul’s letter is focused on people living “in latter times,” and I believe that is us today. Please pray for me to get back on my feet and behind the pulpit on Sunday morning. I want to say “thanks” to all who’ve been praying for me and sending me kind messages. Your love and encouragement mean so much. Also, pray for Pastor Justin as he flies back tomorrow from Lithuania and for Patrick Young as he flies there to join the team. They are ministering to children at music camp, adults at a Bible study, and to orphans and inmates. Pray for God to use our team for His glory! Lastly, please lift up Debbie Wright to the Lord. Debbie lost her brother, Timmy, today. She needs her church to help her during this sad time.
Hope to see you on Sunday!
