Kingsland Family,
I pray that you are having a great week and preparing for a fun weekend ahead. I especially hope that you are including Kingsland in your plans. We changed our Sunday Bible study time to 9am and our worship service to 10:30am… Please use that change as an opportunity to invite your friends and family to KBC (use it as an excuse to inform absentees and people in our community of the new service times). I’m very excited about speaking on Kingsland’s mission, values, and strategy this Sunday morning.
As the fall settles in, the kids go back to school, and people are hopefully coming back to church regularly, this is a great time to be reminded about who we are as a church, why we do what we do, and what we value the most. We are a faith family that is dedicated to the Great Commission (making disciples) and the Great Commandment (loving God and others). We love Jesus and everyone He died to save, and we are more committed than ever to reaching our community. With that in mind, I want to challenge you to sign up to serve our community through Kingsland Cares (Sunday, Oct. 25th) and Trunk or Treat (Saturday, Oct. 31st).
Also, some of the women of KBC are attendingt the Hope of Heaven Tour w/ Jennifer Rothschild & Kelly Minter at Mount Vernon Church in Glen Allen on Oct 16 @ 7pm. The students will be attending Scaremare this year with Pastor JD @ Liberty Univeristy in Lynchburg, VA on Oct 23. Bus is leaving at 5pm!
